First Day of Editing

I'm about 80 pages in to my 141-page manuscript. I exported it to a PDF so I would be tempted to correct anything, but man there's a lot that needs to be changed! Besides almost none of it being worded very well, I think there's some shuffling around to be done with the scenes, and the whole thing is generally a mess. I'm not sure if all novels look this way, or if this one in unsalvageable. I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway, whatever may come of it.
